Montreal, September 9th, 2025 – Vertiko Mobility received an investment of 2.5 million Canadian dollars from Phoenix Capital B.V.in return for a 20% stake in the company's share capital.

This is a big vote of confidence in Vertiko, its team, and its long-term business plan, and a strategic step in their relationship with Magni Ops Inc (a subsidiary of Phoenix Capital B.V.), a company specializing in complex drone operations. The collaboration between the two ecosystems optimizes capabilities for the deployment of innovative drone air traffic management (RTM) and beyond line-of-sight operations (BVLOS) solutions.

Vertiko Mobility already has workshop space at the YMX Innovation Center, located at YMX Aérocité internationale de Mirabel, and it now plans, with its new partners, to considerably expend its facilities and operations there by the end of the year. This technology hub will be designed for the development, integration and assembly of specialized UAVs, with applications focused on the transport of goods and people, as well as the security and surveillance sector.

"This investment is part of a shared vision: to build an innovation hub in Mirabel that will propel Quebec & Canada into a world leadership position in advanced aerial mobility", says Serge Fortier, VP Operations at Phoenix Capital B.V.

Yannick Richard, Executive Vice-President of Vertiko Mobility, adds:

"Initially, our focus was on developing an ecosystem and implementing advanced air mobility solutions here in Quebec. But to our delight our approach has radiated beyond our borders, as many international opportunities are now open to us. The alliance with Phoenix Capital B.V. and Magni Ops is a confirmation of this”.

With this strategic partnership, Phoenix Capital B.V. and Vertiko Mobility aim to create an integrated platform for the development and deployment of drone technologies on an international scale, at the heart of Quebec's aerial innovation ecosystem.
